General Terms and Conditions for Ayurveda Coach Training

Training documents

After registering for the training, you will receive access to the introductory module and a preview of the headings for the content of all other training modules, including the bonus module. The training has a start date on which you will receive access to the first module. A module will be activated for you at regular intervals (every 14 days) until you have received all 12 modules plus the bonus module. Each module includes a variable number of lessons, which contain an audiovisual lecture, downloadable scripts as a PDF, a podcast or other files as distance learning materials.

You undertake not to sell, lend, record or pass on the distance learning materials provided and not to give or arrange for lessons to be given on the basis of this distance learning concept for online training.

Participation fees and payments

You have the option to cancel this contract within 14 days. If you do not make use of your revocation (see below), the participation fees agreed at the time of booking will become binding. You can choose between 3 payment options when booking the online training:

• One-off payment: The participation fee has already been paid by credit card or PayPal at the time of booking.
• In 3 monthly installments: The monthly installments agreed with you are automatically debited via the payment method you selected when booking. The first installment has already been paid at the time of booking. The other two installments are due 30 days apart.
• In 6 monthly installments: The monthly installments agreed with you are automatically debited via the payment method you selected when booking. The first installment has already been paid at the time of booking. The other five installments are due 30 days apart.

In the case of a payment agreement by bank transfer, the date of conclusion of the contract is the date stated on the registration form. The first installment of the participation fee (as a single payment, in 3 or 6 monthly installments) must be transferred immediately after registration, at the latest within 14 days, and any subsequent installments at intervals of 30 days.

Note: In the event of a failed direct debit of an installment, your access may be frozen/blocked until successful settlement.

Your certificate of completion will only be issued and delivered once the entire participation fee has been paid.

The participation fees remain the same throughout the entire online training or correspond to those agreed in this contract. The participation fee includes the distance learning materials as well as the creation and sending of your confirmation of participation. Books, aids, etc. recommended by me are not included in the price.

Duration or processing time

The duration of the Ayurveda Coach training is 6 months. The weekly processing time is approx. 6 hours per week. The total processing time is approx. 220 hours - depending on your previous knowledge - and will be shown on your certificate.

The fact that you have access to the content for 12 months means that you can organize your time yourself.

System requirements for access

You will need a PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone with internet access and sound playback, optionally with microphone input and webcam for the live sessions. To access the online campus, you will also need a current version of an internet browser, such as Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Safari. To read the distance learning materials, you will need a PDF reader, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Online access

Regardless of the payment option you choose, you have the opportunity to take the final exam within 12 months (365 days) of the date of your activation - but not before you have received the 12th module - as well as unlimited online access to all distance learning materials provided during this period. After the 12 months have elapsed, you have the option of continuing membership for further access to the community and the continuously updated distance learning materials.

Performance review

At the end of each module, you will take a multiple-choice test to assess your own performance. The scripts also contain self-check tasks or worksheets to help you consolidate and transfer your knowledge.

Confirmation of participation

You will receive a confirmation of participation once you have completed all modules and passed the performance assessments (multiple-choice tests) at the end of the modules as well as the final live session.

Termination

After the withdrawal period has expired, the contract can be terminated at any time with a notice period of two months. This means that in the event of termination, the month of study that has already begun will be followed by a further two months (notice period). The minimum term of the contract is therefore three months. Notice of termination must be given in writing. In the event of termination, depending on the payment option selected, any unpaid installments will be due in proportion to the number of modules made available up to the end of the contract.

Insofar as a recommendation, dosage, application or similar is mentioned in the information I have provided, no guarantee or liability can be assumed for such. You are required to check these carefully yourself and act on your own responsibility. Furthermore, the recommendations and advice provided are not intended to replace individual medical or medical practice advice, diagnosis or treatment in the event of an existing illness - the materials and information provided are not individual therapies. You should therefore never use them as the sole source for health-related decisions and should always seek medical or naturopathic advice in the event of complaints.

Liability for defects

The existing law on liability for defects shall apply.

Cancellation policy

Right of withdrawal: You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you take possession of the first distance learning material. To exercise your right of withdrawal, send your request to: info@ayurvedacademy.de by means of a clear statement by e-mail about your decision to withdraw from this contract. To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.

Consequences of withdrawal: If you withdraw from this contract, I shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which I am informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. For this repayment, I will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. Under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this repayment. Furthermore, you must return any physical teaching materials you have already received by post. I will bear the costs of the return shipment. You only have to pay for any loss in value of the distance learning material if this loss in value is due to handling of the distance learning material that is not necessary to check its condition, properties and functionality.
